Our Core Beliefs
- We believe that because God is the Author of the Bible and He is perfect, the Bible is perfect. It is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, and every word is true from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.
- We believe in one true and living and eternal triune God who reveals Himself to us as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
- We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sin, and rose from the grave, defeating death, hell, sin, and the grave.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way, the only truth, and the only life; and it is only by placing your faith in Jesus Christ that you can be forgiven of your sin, saved from the wrath of God, receive the gift of eternal life, and have a personal relationship with God.
- We believe, at the moment of salvation, that you are indwelt by the presence and the power of the living God through the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that leads you, guides you, convicts you, and comforts you.
- We believe in the biblical teaching of human sexuality and marriage: that God created man in His image and likeness; that there are only two genders, male and female; that God chooses a person’s gender, which is revealed at birth; that marriage is between one man and one woman.
