The Church – Why Membership Matters (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:23-25)
Church membership matters because:

2. It is a mark of profound distinction. (1 Cor 1:2; Gal 6:10)
3. It is a mark of a meaningful commitment. (Acts 2:42, 46; Heb 10:23-25)
4. The church is a place of biblical community. (Acts 2:44)
5. The church is a place of mutual accountability. (Matt 18:15-20; Heb 13:17)
6. The church is a place of theological unity. (Acts 2:42, 44; 4:32; 2 Cor 13:11)
7. The church is a place of personal sanctification. (Acts 2:42; 1 Thess 5:23; Heb 10:23-25)
