Childhood Ministries

Welcome To Red House Kids

We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which He commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands.”

At Red House Baptist Church, we believe in the importance of equipping families to build strong foundations for faith in their children’s lives. We provide a safe, positive, caring, and engaging environment for children from birth to fifth grade to learn and grow in spiritual understanding.
Our vision is for the kids in our ministry to be eager to know and do God’s Word, to be Biblically literate, to care about others, to have solid foundations so they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to grow up into godly teenagers and adults.

Here are some of the ways we seek to accomplish that vision:
Preschool Sunday Schedule
Sundays 9:15 AM
Sunday School for preschoolers is a time of building foundational Bible concepts for a future personal relationship with Jesus Christ, including: God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, the Bible, salvation, creation, church, people, family, community and world.
Sundays 10:45 AM
Extended Teaching Care is an extension of Sunday School for preschoolers which is staffed by a rotating team of workers.
During ETC, our preschoolers take a short break in the gym.
Sundays 6:00 PM
Evening Childcare (babies-2 year olds) and Preschool Choir (3-year-olds through K).
Childcare is provided for young children during our Sunday evening services. Preschoolers have the opportunity to learn basic music skills and participate in worship through music and movement.
Children's Sunday School

Sundays 9:15 AM

For first through fifth graders, our dedicated Sunday school teachers use The Gospel Project curriculum. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.

Mission Friends
Wednesdays, 6:00 PM
Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God’s love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this good news!
Worship Kid Style
Worship Kid Style, Sundays 10:45 AM
Worship Kid Style is a worship time for first and second graders that builds on The Gospel Project study. Worship Kid Style is staffed by rotating teams. Third, fourth, and fifth graders attend the worship service in the sanctuary with their families.
